While a sophomore at Apex High School, Dr. Wayne decided
what he wanted more than anything was to become a dentist.
That decision led him to the University of North Carolina
at Chapel Hill where he completed his undergraduate work.
Upon graduation, he attended the UNC School of Dentistry.
In May of 1972, Dr. Wayne graduated from dental school
and began his dental career in Cary shortly thereafter.
He rented space from Dr. James Fulp on Maynard Road until
1974 when he moved to an office on Kildaire Farm Road.
He remained there until 1978 when he relocated to 1155
Executive Circle in Cary. In 1995, he built his present
office at 1146 Executive Circle in Cary.
Dr. Wayne grew up in the Green Level community only five
miles west of his present Cary office. He continues to
live there and still farms the land he helped his dad farm
growing up. He also raises Black Angus/Hereford cows and
grows hay. He and his wife of more than 36 years have four
sons, all of whom are his pride and joy! Dr. Wayne’s
passions are striper fishing at Jordan Lake and Smith Mountain
Lake, working on the farm, traveling, and relaxing with
his family and friends.
