White Fillings

What are White Fillings?

Dentists use fillings to repair decaying teeth to their normal function and shape by removing the affected area and replacing the damaged material with a tooth colored filling.

White fillings, or composite/composite resin fillings, are made of a blend of plastics and small glass particles that can be colored to match the pigment of your tooth. These fillings can be polished so that it remains smooth and resistant to staining. The procedure for white fillings is simple and often consists of just one appointment.

Benefits of White Fillings

The leading advantage of a white filling is that with a good color match, it's almost impossible to see that the tooth has undergone a filling procedure. White fillings also bond directly to enamel, making them durable and wear-resistant.
